Last Updated: May 12, 2026

These Terms of Service explain the basic terms for using the BookCode website and requesting our software development services.

By using our website, contacting us, or working with BookCode on a project, you agree to these terms.

1. About BookCode

BookCode is a software house based in Cairo, Egypt. We provide software development services, including websites, web applications, dashboards, CRM systems, business systems, automation tools, and digital platforms.

2. Our Services

BookCode may provide services such as:

  • Custom website development
  • Web application development
  • CRM and business system development
  • Admin dashboards and portals
  • Software maintenance and support
  • UI/UX implementation
  • Technical consultation and project planning

The exact scope, timeline, deliverables, and cost of each project will be agreed separately through a proposal, quotation, contract, or written confirmation.

3. Project Scope

Each project will be delivered based on the agreed scope of work. The scope may include features, pages, integrations, design requirements, technical requirements, and delivery phases.

Any additional requests, changes, or features outside the agreed scope may require extra time, cost, or a separate agreement.

4. Client Responsibilities

To help us deliver the project properly, the client agrees to provide the required information, content, approvals, access details, feedback, and decisions on time.

Project timelines may be affected if required information, feedback, approvals, or access are delayed.

5. Proposals, Pricing, and Payments

Prices, payment terms, milestones, and delivery phases will be agreed before starting the project.

A project may require an advance payment before work begins. Remaining payments may be linked to milestones, delivery stages, or final handover, depending on the agreed terms.

Work may be paused if agreed payments are delayed.

6. Delivery and Timelines

We do our best to deliver projects within the agreed timeline. However, timelines may change due to scope changes, delayed feedback, third-party services, technical dependencies, or requirements added during the project.

Any major timeline changes will be communicated clearly with the client.

7. Revisions and Changes

Reasonable revisions may be included depending on the agreed project scope.

Revisions should be related to the agreed requirements. New features, major design changes, or changes after approval may be treated as additional work.

8. Content and Materials

The client is responsible for providing accurate content, images, logos, brand assets, business information, and any materials required for the project.

The client confirms that they have the right to use any content, files, images, or materials shared with BookCode.

9. Ownership of Deliverables

After full payment is received, the client owns the final agreed project deliverables created specifically for them, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

BookCode may continue to own or reuse its general knowledge, internal tools, reusable components, templates, frameworks, workflows, and pre-existing code that were not created exclusively for the client.

10. Third-Party Tools and Services

Some projects may require third-party services such as hosting providers, payment gateways, email services, analytics tools, APIs, plugins, themes, or external platforms.

The client may be responsible for third-party fees, accounts, licenses, approvals, and terms related to these services.

11. Support and Maintenance

Support and maintenance services may be provided based on the agreed project terms.

Support may include bug fixing, technical assistance, updates, or improvements depending on the agreed support plan.

New features, major updates, or changes outside the original scope may require a separate quotation.

12. Confidentiality

We respect the confidentiality of client projects. Any business information, project details, files, documents, ideas, or access details shared with BookCode will be used only to deliver or support the project.

We do not sell or publish client project information without permission.

13. Portfolio and Case Studies

BookCode may request permission to showcase completed work in its portfolio, website, social media, or case studies.

We will not publish confidential project details or sensitive business information without the client’s approval.

14. Website Use

You agree not to misuse the BookCode website, attempt unauthorized access, send harmful code, spam our forms, or use the website in a way that may harm our systems or other users.

15. No Guaranteed Business Results

We aim to deliver professional software solutions based on the agreed requirements. However, we do not guarantee specific business results, revenue, sales, rankings, or customer growth unless clearly agreed in writing.

16. Limitation of Responsibility

BookCode is responsible for delivering the agreed services with reasonable care and professional effort.

We are not responsible for issues caused by third-party services, incorrect client-provided information, unauthorized changes made by others, hosting problems, expired licenses, or factors outside our control.

17. Termination

Either party may stop working on a project if the other party does not meet the agreed terms, such as payment obligations, required cooperation, or project commitments.

Any completed work, pending payments, or handover details will be handled based on the agreed project terms.
